Supported devices
Unfold needs a book foldable with Android 13 or newer: a phone that opens like a book, with a cover display outside and a large display inside. The devices below ship with a built-in profile. Other book foldables are detected when the app starts and usually work too.

What the transition column means
- Follows your hand: the hinge sensor reports every angle, so the fold moves with the phone.
- Timed transition per step: the hinge sensor only reports a few positions (closed, half open, open). Unfold plays a short animated fold at each step. Fully supported.
- Checked on first run: Unfold reads the hinge sensor when it starts and picks one of the two modes above.
Not supported
Flip phones (such as Galaxy Z Flip and Motorola razr) and regular phones. Unfold recognizes them and tells you so instead of starting the effect.
